**WHAT DO WE PLAN?**
Summer is the perfect time for our beautiful Dinaric Alps. The fields are full of colorful flowers, the temperature is ideal, and the expanses are breathtaking when you rise above 2000 meters. There's a mountain called the crown of the Dinarides, which is said to have 17 glacial lakes and peaks ranging from the dangerous and rocky to the mild and accessible. Yes, you guessed it! We are taking you to Durmitor!

**WHAT IS THE PROGRAM?**

July 26-27, 2024. NOVI SAD – BELGRADE – BLACK LAKE – JABLAN LAKE

ROUTE LENGTH: 11km
ELEVATION DIFFERENCE: 500m
DIFFICULTY: MEDIUM

Departure on July 26 from NOVI SAD AND BELGRADE in the evening (Exact time and place to be announced a few days before the trip) and a smooth ride to Montenegro.
In the early morning hours, we arrive at Durmitor. Right after arrival, we start with a light forest hike during which we will have the opportunity to visit the beautiful glacial lakes. The first we come across is called Black and its location makes it unique. It is nicely bordered by a coniferous forest while above it dramatically rises the peak of Mali Međed, one of the most inaccessible among the Durmitor crags.
We continue through a dense centuries-old forest, breathing in filtered high-mountain air and listening to the chirping of birds. With a gentle step and a slight ascent, we come to Lake Jablan which is perfectly hidden at an altitude of over 1800m, crystal emerald water surrounded by ancient pine forest. A balm for the eyes and soul.
Next, we descend back and go to the accommodation for a well-deserved rest...

July 28-29, 2024. ŽABLJAK – PRUTAŠ – ŠKRČKO LAKE – BELGRADE – NOVI SAD

DIFFICULTY: DEMANDING

In the morning, we leave the accommodation and drive a short section of the famous Durmitor ring, which is considered the most beautiful road in Montenegro. We arrive at the base of the peak of Prutaš, unique in that you can clearly see the layers of earth stacked over centuries. Just standing under this colossus awakens all the senses in a person.
We start the ascent, little by little the view opens up, and there is indeed much to see! Around us, the view breaks on Bobotov Kuk and its ridge, and right below in the heart of the mountain waits Škrčko Lake!
Next is a descent into the heart of Durmitor! Enjoying Škrčko Lake and its glass-clear water... Meditation under the highest peak of Durmitor... Truly a unique place on the planet...
Fully charged, we continue on, there will be a bit more ascent, nothing scary, then across the pass and past Green Vir we descend to Sedlo where the bus awaits us. Unreal views at every moment, we smaller than ever, souls merged with the mountain... It will be a memorable experience...
On the return to the bus, we go to Žabljak for a lunch break, then head back to Serbia where we are scheduled to arrive in the early morning hours of the following day...

**WHAT DO WE USUALLY BRING ON A HIKE?**

- A smile, good mood, as well as good health.
- Plenty of water, at least 2L per hike, snacks, refreshments for ascents and walks awaiting us.
- Food, fruit, snacks, sweets for breaks during the hikes.
- Comfortable and strong, suitable footwear for walking in nature.
- If you already have your favorite walking stick bring it, if not, nature hides your new favorite.
- Cap/hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, whatever you consider would protect you in case of strong sun.
- Spare/replacement clothing, warm and dry change of clothes readily available after each hike.
- Swimwear, towel, slippers

**IMPORTANT NOTES!!!**

- The number of applications will be limited, and the right to attend the trip is EXCLUSIVELY for members of the MOUNTAINEERING ASSOCIATION HTS (ID:28748817) (Contact us for details related to membership and purchasing stamps for the year 2024) or any mountaineering society within the PSS
- Fee: 4200 RSD (transportation, paid to the association account upon registration) and 50 EUR (Given during the trip for costs of accommodation, parking, and tolls)
- The fee does not include an entrance ticket to NP Durmitor at a price of 5 EUR
- Organizers reserve the right to change the program due to unforeseen circumstances, inability to access certain sections or even cancellation of the trip
- Please send us the number of people, their names, phone numbers, and place of departure when registering along with confirmation of membership in our organization. After registration and payment due to the proximity of the event, it will be impossible to cancel transportation and thus no refund, but it will of course be possible to potentially replace a registered person.
- This trip is NOT recommended for people with heart or any other conditions that could be adversely affected by physical activity.
- Please be PRECISE AND ON TIME when it comes to departure time, and on the other hand, do not adhere too strictly to the duration of the walk.
