Have you ever imagined yourself hiking along the Ligurian Sea coast, surrounded by steep cliffs and vineyards, sipping a glass of wine or Aperol during breaks in some of the most picturesque Italian villages? And then the next day, leisurely cruising by boat to the most famous chic resort, followed by another coastal hike while the Mediterranean breeze gently caresses you... Oh yes, Cinque Terre, Portofino, and Sirmione are waiting for us...
!!! REGISTRATION DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 15, 2025 – due to accommodation confirmation!!!
Travel Itinerary:
November 8, 2025 – BELGRADE – NOVI SAD
Departure from BELGRADE, from the parking lot at Sava Center, around 2:00 PM. From Novi Sad around 3:15 PM from the ATP Vojvodina tourist terminal. (Exact times will be provided the day before by the agency.)
We then continue our pleasant journey to Italy with group breaks and border formalities.
November 9, 2025 – CINQUE TERRE (Hike from village to village)
- Route Length: 9–14 km
- Elevation Gain: 600–900 m
- Difficulty: Moderate
In the morning, we arrive at the small town of Levanto, where we purchase daily train passes and begin our exploration of the most colorful Italian villages.
The plan is to take the train to Riomaggiore, the farthest of the five villages, and after a coffee break, hike over the surrounding hills visiting all five gems known collectively as Cinque Terre. We’ll hike with continuous sea views, through pine forests and vineyards, and depending on the group's pace and mood, we can shorten the trail and take a train for one section if desired.
All in all, a day of pure Italian-style hedonism!
After the hike, we transfer briefly to our accommodation and spend the night.
November 10, 2025 – SANTA MARGHERITA – SAN FRUTTUOSO MONASTERY (Optional Tour)
- Route Length: 10 km
- Elevation Gain: 350 m
- Difficulty: Moderate
After breakfast, we take a short drive to the charming town of Santa Margherita, and then by city bus to the famous Portofino.
This resort is so beautiful that Madonna, Leonardo DiCaprio, and many other global celebrities often choose it as a vacation destination. What many don’t know is that Portofino is surrounded by stunning pine forests and dramatic cliffs. After a morning break, we’ll embark on an unforgettable hike to the San Fruttuoso Monastery, hidden in a peaceful cove with no asphalt connection to the outside world.
After the hike, we return to the hotel to rest.
November 11, 2025 – SIRMIONE VISIT – NOVI SAD – BELGRADE
Early morning breakfast, then we pack up and head back.
After several hours of driving, we’ll stop to explore Sirmione, a picturesque town on the shores of Italy’s largest lake. It is known for its narrow medieval streets, a unique fortress jutting into the lake, and possibly the best gelato in Italy.
Free time to enjoy your ice cream by the lake and find the perfect souvenir magnet for your fridge...
