WHAT ARE WE PLANNING?
The long-awaited and always exciting Šar Mountain will be our host this summer! We are heading for an ascent to its highest peak, with views that cannot be described in words!

WHAT IS THE PROGRAM?

21–22.08.2026 – NOVI SAD – BELGRADE – ASCENT TO JELAČKI CRN VRH

ROUTE LENGTH: 12 km
ELEVATION GAIN: 500 m
DIFFICULTY: MODERATE

Departure on 21.08. from NOVI SAD and BELGRADE in the evening hours (exact time and location will be announced a few days before departure), followed by a relaxed drive towards North Macedonia.

In the early morning hours we arrive at Popova Šapka. We then go on a hike to one of the more easily accessible nearby peaks and enjoy the impressive beauty of the Šar Mountains.

After the hike, we head to accommodation and enjoy a well-deserved rest.


23–24.08.2026 – ASCENT TO TITOV VRV (2,747 m) – BELGRADE – NOVI SAD

ROUTE LENGTH: 21 km
ELEVATION GAIN: 1,200 m
DIFFICULTY: CHALLENGING

In the morning hours we leave the accommodation and start the hike.

Today we climb the highest peak of the Šar Mountains. Although the trail is long, it is not technically demanding, making the ascent to Titov Vrv a real pleasure, especially during the summer months when nature is lush, the weather pleasant and sunny, and the views endless.

After finishing the hike, we take a break for lunch and then begin the return journey to Belgrade and Novi Sad, with arrival expected late in the evening.


WHAT TO BRING FOR THE HIKE?!

  • A smile, good spirit, and good health.
  • Plenty of water, minimum 2L per hike, snacks and refreshments for the ascents and walks ahead.
  • Food, fruit, snacks, sweets for breaks along the way.
  • Comfortable and sturdy hiking shoes suitable for nature walking.
  • If you have your favorite trekking poles, bring them; if not, nature might reveal your new favorite ones.
  • Cap/hat, sunglasses, sunscreen – anything that protects you from strong sun.
  • Spare/dry change of clothes for after each hike.
  • Swimwear, towel, slippers.

IMPORTANT NOTES!!!

  • The number of participants is limited, and participation is ONLY allowed for members of the HTS HIKING CLUB (MB:28748817) (contact us for membership details and 2026 membership cards) or any hiking club within the HPS (Mountaineering Association of Serbia).
  • Fee: 13,500 RSD is paid to the association upon registration.
  • The organizers reserve the right to modify the program due to unforeseen circumstances, inability to access certain sections, or even cancellation of the trip.
  • Please send number of participants, names, phone numbers, and departure location along with proof of membership upon registration. After registration and payment, due to the proximity of the event, cancellation of transport and accommodation will not be possible, and therefore no refund will be issued, but substitution of a registered person will be allowed.
  • This trip is not covered by travel guarantee insurance in accordance with Article 86, paragraph 3 of the Tourism Law.
  • The tour is NOT recommended for persons with heart conditions or any other health issues that may be negatively affected by physical activity.
  • Please be precise regarding departure times, but do not strictly adhere to hiking duration schedules.
  • All participants are kindly asked to bring ONLY positive vibes, a cheerful spirit, and good mood. See you there.
