Trebinje is one of those cities everyone talks about with a smile — you know, those places that simply have a great vibe. It is close enough to the sea to have picked up that fresh Adriatic atmosphere, yet far enough away to be comfortably nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains. Dubrovnik is just over the hill, with its medieval walls and fortresses, while on the opposite side lies the Bay of Kotor, with its spectacular viewpoints.

TRIP ITINERARY

DECEMBER 29, 2026 – NOVI SAD – BELGRADE

Departure from Novi Sad at around 10:00 PM from the ATP Vojvodina bus terminal.

From Belgrade, departure is from the Sava Center parking lot at around 11:15 PM.

Exact departure times will be confirmed one day in advance, and the agency will inform passengers accordingly.

We continue with a relaxed journey towards Trebinje, with rest stops for the group and customs/border formalities along the way.

DECEMBER 30, 2026 – TREBINJE – HIKE TO KAMENE OČI & GLASS VIEWPOINT – HERZEGOVINA GRAČANICA – CITY TOUR

ROUTE LENGTH: 6.5 km
ELEVATION GAIN: 200 m
DIFFICULTY: EASY

We arrive in Trebinje in the early morning hours.

We begin the day with an easy hike during which we first visit a local site known as Kamene Oči (Stone Eyes). As the name suggests, the rocks resemble human eyes carved into stone, forever facing the Trebišnjica River valley.

We then continue uphill to a glass viewpoint, offering a fantastic view of Mount Leotar and Trebinje.

After completing the hike, we take the bus to the famous Herzegovina Gračanica Church, where we will enjoy the view once again. We then descend into the city, where a local guide will take us on a sightseeing tour of Trebinje.

Afterwards, we take a short drive to our accommodation.

DECEMBER 31, 2026 – TREBINJE – FORT IMPERIAL – DUBROVNIK (OPTIONAL)

ROUTE LENGTH: 8 km
ELEVATION GAIN/LOSS: 150 m ascent / 400 m descent
DIFFICULTY: MODERATE

Breakfast.

We take a short drive to the surroundings of Dubrovnik, where our hike begins at one of the most famous viewpoints overlooking the city and its historic fortified center.

We then make an easy ascent to Mount Srđ, where Fort Imperial proudly overlooks Dubrovnik.

After visiting the viewpoint, we begin an easy descent towards the city, with continuous views of the sea and Dubrovnik's Old Town.

We then have time to enjoy the charms of this fairytale-like Adriatic gem.

After the hike, we enter the world of Game of Thrones and use our free time to wander through the medieval streets of the city, surrounded by its impressive city walls.

After the sightseeing tour, we return to our accommodation.

JANUARY 1, 2027 – TREBINJE – SVETI ILIJA VIEWPOINT – HERCEG NOVI (OPTIONAL)

ELEVATION GAIN: 400 m
DIFFICULTY: MODERATE

Breakfast.

We then drive to Igalo, where a hike to the Church of St. Elijah (Sveti Ilija) awaits us. From the church courtyard, there is a fantastic view of the Bay of Kotor and the open sea.

This is where the sea and the bay come together, surrounded on all sides by a stunning combination of mountains and water.

After completing the hike, we continue to Herceg Novi for lunch and coffee, followed by a walk along the main seaside promenade and some time to enjoy the pleasant climate.

We then return to our accommodation.

JANUARY 2, 2027 – TREBINJE – ASCENT OF MOUNT LEOTAR

ROUTE LENGTH: 12 km
ELEVATION GAIN: 600 m
DIFFICULTY: MODERATE

Breakfast.

In the morning, we leave the accommodation and pack our belongings onto the bus.

Since Mount Leotar is the mountain that welcomes us and watches over Trebinje, it is only fitting that we climb it.

The ascent is not particularly demanding, while the view from the summit over the mountain ridge and the valley below is the perfect finishing touch to this trip.

If anyone does not feel like hiking, we completely understand. Those participants will have the option to relax in Trebinje and soak up a little more of its unique seaside-and-mountain atmosphere.

After completing the hike and sightseeing, we begin our journey back to Serbia.

JANUARY 3, 2027 – BELGRADE – NOVI SAD

Arrival at the departure points in the early morning hours.

The group will be accommodated partly at Hotel National in Trebinje and partly at Hani Apartments in Trebinje.

The rooms are clean and well-maintained, mostly designed for 2, 3 or 4 people, while one room accommodates 6 people.

WHAT SHOULD WE USUALLY BRING FOR A HIKE?!

• A smile, a positive attitude, and good health.
• Plenty of water — a minimum of 2 liters per hike — as well as snacks and refreshments for the climbs and walks ahead.
• Food, fruit, snacks and sweets for breaks along the way during the hikes.
• Comfortable, sturdy and appropriate footwear suitable for walking in nature.
• If you already have your favorite walking/hiking stick, bring it with you. If not, nature may be where you discover your new favorite one.
• A cap/hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, or anything else you consider necessary to protect yourself in case of strong sunlight.
• Spare/change of clothes. Keep warm and dry clothing easily accessible for changing after each hike.
• Swimsuit, towel and flip-flops.

IMPORTANT NOTES!!!

• The organizers reserve the right to modify the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, inability to access certain sections of the route, or even to cancel the trip.
• Please provide us upon registration with the number of participants, their full names, telephone numbers, and departure location, together with proof of membership in the organization. After registration and payment, due to the proximity of the event, it will not be possible to cancel the transportation and accommodation and, consequently, obtain a refund. However, it will of course be possible to replace the registered participant with another person. The number of registrations will be limited, and participation in the trip is EXCLUSIVELY available to members of the Hiking Association HTS (Company Registration No. 28748817) or members of any hiking association affiliated with the Mountaineering Association of Serbia (PSS). • For this trip, travel guarantee protection is provided under Travel Insurance Policy No. 470000065481 issued by Triglav Osiguranje, in the amount of €30,000, covering the organizer's insolvency and compensation for damages caused to the traveler as a result of the organizer's failure to perform, partial performance, or improper performance of its obligations as defined by the General Travel Conditions and the travel program, valid from October 2, 2025.
• This trip is NOT recommended under any circumstances for persons with heart conditions or any other medical conditions that could be adversely affected by physical activity.
• Please be PRECISE AND PUNCTUAL regarding departure times. At the same time, please understand that the scheduled duration of the hikes cannot always be followed to the minute.

In the event of an insufficient number of participants, the deadline for cancellation of the trip is seven days before the beginning of the trip, pursuant to Article 108 of the Consumer Protection Act.

The agency reserves the right to operate the transportation with a price adjustment or in cooperation with another agency.

The agency reserves the right to adjust prices in the event of changes in the foreign exchange market.

The agency shall not be held responsible for any other verbal information concerning the travel program.

The organizer reserves the right to change the order of individual activities included in the program.

SPECIAL NOTES

• The agency recommends that travelers purchase individual travel cancellation insurance, as otherwise any cancellation by the traveler will be handled exclusively in accordance with the General Travel Conditions — Section 10, TRAVELER'S CANCELLATION OF THE TRIP.
• Seating arrangements on the bus are determined according to the date of payment, i.e. the date on which the Travel Agreement is concluded. When assigning seats, consideration is given to elderly passengers, pregnant women, families with children (up to 12 years of age), passengers with documented health conditions, etc. The first row of seats is reserved for official/crew use and is not allocated to passengers unless necessary. Passengers are required to accept the seat assigned to them by the agency.
• When signing the travel agreement, the passenger is required to provide the organizer with all requested information, including the number of the travel document used to cross the border. If the requested information is not provided when the agreement is signed, it must be submitted within 48 hours.
• For travelers holding a red biometric passport of the Republic of Serbia, the passport must be valid for at least 3 months from the date of return from the trip when entering the EU, and for at least 6 months from the date of return from the trip when entering the Republic of Turkey.
• Passengers are kindly asked to pay attention to the validity of their travel documents, especially children's travel documents.
• The travel organizer is not authorized to assess the validity of travel or other documents. Passengers who are not Serbian citizens are responsible for informing themselves about the visa requirements of the countries they are travelling to. Passengers are advised to obtain information regarding entry requirements for EU countries (required financial means for the stay, health insurance, accommodation confirmations, etc.) from the website of the EU Delegation to Serbia, www.europa.rs, or from the embassy or consulate of the country they are travelling to or transiting through. The agency shall not be held responsible if border authorities prevent a passenger from entering EU territory.
• If passengers pay an additional fee for an extra seat on the bus, they are not entitled to a refund after the trip if there are still unoccupied seats on the bus.
• 48 hours before departure, the travel organizer will send a notification containing all departure details. If you do not receive the message, please contact the agency to obtain the exact information regarding the departure.
• Stops for breaks during the journey are planned approximately every 3.5 to 4 hours of driving, at roadside rest areas, depending on available capacity and road conditions.
• Passengers are requested to take care of their travel documents, money and personal belongings throughout the duration of the arrangement. Leaving valuables on the bus or in hotel rooms is not recommended, as neither the carrier nor the hotel is responsible for them. In the event of a break-in of the bus, passengers may request compensation only for their insured belongings from authorized insurance companies. The travel organizer cannot be held responsible, nor may complaints be addressed to the organizer, in the event of such unforeseen circumstances.
• Please note that this is a group trip, and the entire organization is based on that principle. Accordingly, passengers should understand that the vehicle, music and films played during the journey are neutral in content. The temperature inside the vehicle cannot be individually adjusted for each seat; what feels warm to one person may feel cold to another, and vice versa. Therefore, group travel requires a high degree of mutual understanding and a sense of collectivism among passengers.
• Luggage space on the bus is limited. The permitted amount of luggage per passenger is one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage.
• Passengers are advised that, due to adherence to the scheduled itinerary, it is not possible to hold the bus at a border crossing for the purpose of processing a tax-free refund. Please take this into consideration.
• The travel organizer reserves the right to modify the travel program due to unforeseen objective circumstances, such as border congestion, traffic congestion, closure of a site included in the itinerary, etc.
• The travel organizer and excursion organizer reserve the right to change the dates and conditions of optional excursions included in the program, as well as the order of sightseeing, due to objective circumstances. Please note that, due to national or religious holidays at a particular destination, some attractions, shopping centers, shops, restaurants, museums, etc. may be closed.
• The amount of free time available for individual activities during the travel program depends on objective circumstances, such as the duration of sightseeing, departure times, arrival times and the subsequent schedule of the travel arrangement.
• Passengers whose primary purpose is to visit museums and galleries are advised to check their opening hours online and coordinate their desired visits with the free time available during the trip.
• The hotel category stated in the program is the officially established and valid category on the date the agreement between the travel organizer and the foreign partner is concluded. Any subsequent changes unknown to the travel organizer cannot be considered relevant.
• Guests enter the accommodation facilities on the first day of their stay from 3:00 PM (earlier check-in may be possible) and must leave them on the final day of their stay by 9:00 AM at the latest. Each hotel has a restaurant. Rooms have shared showers and toilets. The accommodation included in this offer is registered, inspected and standardized by the National Tourism Association of the country in which it is located. If the exact name of the hotel has not been published, the travel organizer undertakes to publish it no later than 7 days before departure. In the event of a hotel change, if a specific hotel is stated in the travel program, the organizer is obliged to inform all passengers in writing. The replacement hotel must fully meet the standards of the hotel described in the program. If you do not accept a replacement of the contracted accommodation, you may cancel the trip without any consequences.
• Descriptions of accommodation facilities are for informational purposes only. The travel organizer is not responsible for any deviations or for the quality of services provided by the accommodation facilities, as these are solely the responsibility of the accommodation providers. Some additional facilities and services may be available for an extra charge. Availability of certain facilities may vary, as this depends exclusively on the accommodation provider (e.g. safe, parking, minibar, TV, air conditioning, hairdryer, internet, etc.). We recommend that passengers also obtain additional information about these facilities online, through social media and specialized travel websites such as Tripadvisor, Booking.com, etc.
• The travel organizer cannot influence room assignments, as these are determined exclusively by the reception/front desk of the accommodation facility.
• Requests for connecting rooms, family rooms, etc. will be taken into consideration; however, group bus travel arrangements do not guarantee this type of accommodation or the choice of specific rooms and their features (balcony, terrace, smoking/non-smoking room, floor, French/European double bed, etc.). The organizing agency cannot guarantee such requests.
• Accommodation in group arrangements of this type is generally provided in four-person or six-person rooms with an additional/extra bed intended for the accommodation of a third person. Rooms with an extra bed are less comfortable, and the third bed may be of standard or smaller dimensions. Please note that an extra bed may significantly reduce the comfort of the third passenger. The extra bed is usually a metal-frame bed with a thin mattress, an armchair bed, or a sofa bed.
• All times stated in the travel programs are given according to the local time of the country in which the group is staying.
• The person signing the travel agreement or the representatives of the group of passengers are obliged to inform all passengers about the agreed travel program, payment and insurance conditions, as well as the General Travel Conditions of the travel organizer.
• Minor passengers must carry a notarized/officially certified parental or guardian consent when travelling.
• International travel health insurance is mandatory for certain destinations. We strongly recommend having such insurance for all your trips, as otherwise you assume responsibility for any potential consequences during checks by the authorities of the country you are visiting or the countries through which you are travelling.
• The agency shall not be held responsible for information provided verbally, by telephone or electronically. Only the written travel program displayed at the agency's premises is considered valid.
• The organizer reserves the right to sell its arrangements through Last Minute offers at prices different from those stated in the price list. Customers who have started paying for or have already paid for an arrangement at the prices published in the price list are not entitled to claim compensation for any subsequent difference in price.
