FATERHORN – THE ALPS
DATE: September 17th – 22nd, 2025

At first, the idea was to visit Zermatt and see the famous Matterhorn, the towering tooth-like peak standing proudly above the rest of the Alps… But soon we realized that Mont Blanc and even Gran Paradiso aren’t that far either – so we decided to pack them all into one magical adventure!

!!! REGISTRATION DEADLINE: September 9th, 2025 !!!

Travel Itinerary:

September 17th, 2025 – BELGRADE – NOVI SAD
Departure from Belgrade (Sava Center parking) around noon. From Novi Sad around 1 p.m. (ATP Vojvodina tourist terminal). Exact times will be announced a day before the trip by the agency.
We’ll then enjoy a smooth drive towards Switzerland, with breaks and border formalities.

September 18th, 2025 – ZERMATT – RIFFEL LAKE (Best View of MATTERHORN) – NUS
TRAIL LENGTH: 13 km
ELEVATION GAIN: 900 m
DIFFICULTY: CHALLENGING

In the early morning hours, we’ll arrive in the small town of Täsch, the last place reachable by motor vehicles. From there, we board a train that quickly takes us to the idyllic Zermatt, which proudly serves as the starting point to explore the iconic Alpine peak.

After a short breakfast break in Zermatt, we’ll take a gondola to Furi station, the starting point of our hike. Step by step, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery, we’ll reach the small glacial Riffel Lake, where the Matterhorn reflects off the water – a truly unforgettable sight!

After soaking in the views, we descend the same route, return to Zermatt and then Täsch.
We then board the bus and head to the small town of Nus, where we check into our rooms and rest. Overnight stay.

September 19th, 2025 – NUS – COURMAYEUR – RIFUGIO GIORGIO BERTONE (View of MONT BLANC) (Optional Excursion)
TRAIL LENGTH: 10 km
ELEVATION GAIN: 600 m
DIFFICULTY: MODERATE

Breakfast. We then take a short drive to the charming village of Courmayeur, the last town in Italy before the tunnel that leads under Mont Blanc.
We’ll hike up to Rifugio Giorgio Bertone, offering unreal views of the entire Mont Blanc massif. The hut typically serves food and drinks, so we plan to settle in with a drink and soak in the panorama of the highest peak in the Alps.

Afterward, we return to our accommodation. Overnight stay.

September 20th, 2025 – NUS – RIFUGIO VITTORIO EMANUELE II (View of GRAN PARADISO) (Optional Excursion)
TRAIL LENGTH: 11 km
ELEVATION GAIN: 800 m
DIFFICULTY: MODERATE TO CHALLENGING

Breakfast. Early morning departure for Pont, a small town in the Torrente Savara Valley, the classic starting point for summiting Gran Paradiso, Italy’s highest mountain.
Our plan is to hike to Rifugio Vittorio Emanuele II, from which there’s a magnificent view of the Gran Paradiso summit.
After some time to relax and enjoy the view, we descend along the same path and return to our accommodation. Overnight stay.

September 21st, 2025 – NUS – BERGAMO – NOVI SAD – BELGRADE
Breakfast. We pack and begin our return journey, heading to Bergamo for a short tour of the old medieval town with its narrow streets, cobblestones, and iconic Italian architecture.
We'll pause here for lunch and a bit more sightseeing before heading back to Serbia.

SPECIAL NOTES

  • The agency recommends that travelers purchase individual trip cancellation insurance. Otherwise, for any cancellations made by the traveler, the provisions of the General Travel Terms and Conditions – Clause 10 (CANCELLATION BY THE TRAVELER) will apply.

  • The bus seat allocation is determined by the date of payment, i.e., the date the Travel Contract is concluded. When assigning seats, priority is given to older passengers, pregnant women, families with children (under 12 years), and passengers with documented health issues. The first row of seats is reserved for staff and will not be assigned to passengers unless necessary. Passengers are required to accept the seat assigned by the agency.

  • Upon signing the contract, the traveler must provide the tour operator with all required information, including the ID/passport number with which they will be crossing the border. If the required information is not provided upon signing, the deadline for submission is 48 hours.

  • For travelers holding a red biometric passport of the Republic of Serbia, the passport must be valid for at least 3 months after the return date for EU entry and at least 6 months after the return date for entry into the Republic of Turkey.

  • Travelers are advised to ensure the validity of their travel documents, especially for children.

  • The tour operator is not authorized to assess the validity of travel and other documents. Travelers who are not Serbian citizens are obliged to independently check the visa requirements for the destination country. It is recommended that travelers check the entry conditions for EU countries (required funds for stay, health insurance, accommodation confirmation, etc.) via the Delegation of the EU to Serbia website www.europa.rs or the embassy or consulate of the destination and transit countries. The agency bears no responsibility if border authorities deny entry into the EU.

  • Travelers who pay for an additional bus seat are not entitled to a refund after the trip, even if there were vacant seats available.

  • The tour operator sends detailed departure information 48 hours before departure. If you do not receive the message, you must contact the agency to obtain accurate departure information.

  • Stops for breaks are planned every 3.5 to 4 hours of driving at roadside stops, depending on the availability of facilities and road conditions.

  • Travelers are advised to take care of their travel documents, money, and belongings during the trip. Leaving valuables in the bus or hotel rooms is not recommended, as neither the carrier nor the hotel is liable. In case of theft from the bus, the traveler may claim compensation only for insured items through authorized insurance companies. The tour operator cannot be held responsible nor accept complaints in such unforeseen cases.

  • Please note that this is a group trip, and all aspects are subject to that. Accordingly, music and films played in the vehicle are of neutral content. The bus temperature cannot be individually adjusted for each seat – please be understanding, as what is warm for one person may be cold for another. Group travel requires mutual understanding and a collective spirit.

  • Luggage space in the bus is limited. Each traveler is allowed one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage.

  • Passengers are reminded that due to adherence to scheduled travel times, the bus cannot be delayed at the border for tax-free refund procedures.

  • The tour operator reserves the right to change the travel itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., border delays, traffic congestion, closure of planned sightseeing locations).

  • The organizer of the trip and excursions during the trip reserves the right to change the schedule and conditions of optional excursions, as well as the sightseeing order due to objective circumstances. Please be aware that due to national or religious holidays, some destinations, shopping centers, stores, restaurants, museums, etc., may be closed.

  • The duration of free time for individual activities during the trip depends on objective circumstances (e.g., length of tours, departure times, arrival time, and further schedule).

  • Travelers interested in visiting museums and galleries are advised to check their working hours online and plan visits according to the free time available during the trip.

  • The hotel category listed in the program is the official category valid on the date the contract was concluded between the tour operator and the foreign partner. Any subsequent changes unknown to the tour operator are not considered relevant.

  • Check-in at accommodation facilities begins at 3:00 PM on the first day (earlier check-in may be possible), and check-out is no later than 9:00 AM on the last day. Every hotel has a restaurant. Rooms have shared bathrooms and toilets. Accommodation from this offer is registered, inspected, and standardized by the National Tourism Association of the respective country. If the exact hotel name is not listed in the program, the organizer is obliged to publish it no later than 7 days before departure. In case of hotel change, the organizer must inform all travelers in writing, and the replacement hotel must meet the same standards as the one described in the itinerary. If the traveler does not accept the new accommodation, they may cancel the trip without consequences.

  • Accommodation descriptions are for informational purposes only. The tour operator is not responsible for potential discrepancies or service quality in the accommodations, as this depends solely on the accommodation provider. Some additional hotel services are available at extra charge. Availability of certain amenities (safe, parking, minibar, TV, air conditioning, hairdryer, internet, etc.) may vary depending on the hotel. We advise travelers to research such details on websites like www.tripadvisor.com, www.booking.com, and other travel-related platforms.

  • The organizer has no control over room assignments, which are solely at the discretion of hotel reception.

  • Requests for connecting rooms, family rooms, etc., will be considered, but such arrangements are not standard in group bus trips, nor is there a guarantee for specific room types (balcony, terrace, smoking room, floor level, double bed…). The agency cannot guarantee such services.

  • Accommodation in group arrangements of this type is in four-bed or six-bed rooms with extra beds for the third person. Rooms with extra beds are less comfortable; the third bed is auxiliary and may be of standard or smaller dimensions. Please note that the auxiliary bed may significantly affect the comfort of the third traveler (typically a metal frame bed with a thin mattress, or a sofa/chair bed).

  • All times listed in the travel program refer to local time in the country being visited.

  • The contract signatory or group representatives are obligated to inform all travelers about the agreed travel program, payment terms, insurance, and General Travel Conditions.

  • Minors must have notarized parental/guardian consent for travel.

  • International travel health insurance is mandatory for certain destinations. We advise having such insurance for all trips, as the traveler is solely responsible for any consequences in the event of inspections by the destination or transit countries.

  • The agency is not responsible for any information provided orally, by phone, or electronically. Only the written travel program posted in the agency’s office is valid.

  • The organizer reserves the right to sell arrangements via "Last Minute" offers at different prices from those listed in the official price list. Customers who have already started payments or fully paid for arrangements at the listed prices have no right to claim compensation for price differences.
