ONE-DAY TRIP – SOČA VALLEY 
Ah, Slovenia… those enchanting Julian Alps. Deep, very deep behind Triglav, nestled beneath Mangart, lies the Soča Valley! With a river so turquoise, it seems straight out of a fairytale! You know that feeling when you look at something and can’t tell if you’re dreaming or if reality is truly this beautiful… Just let go, it’s going to be Soč a good day!

BELGRADE – NOVI SAD – SOČA VALLEY (Mlinarica Gorge, Small and Great Soča Gorges)
ROUTE LENGTH: 14 km
ELEVATION CHANGE: 300 m descent
DIFFICULTY: Medium

Departure on August 2nd, 2025 from Novi Sad (Location: ATP Vojvodina around midnight, Friday to Saturday), continuing to Belgrade (near Sava Centar around 1:00 AM) — exact time and place will be sent one day prior to departure. From there, a relaxing ride toward Austria with breaks for group rest and border formalities.

In the early morning hours, we’ll arrive in the SOČA VALLEY, where a light, pleasant hike awaits. During the walk, we’ll follow the course of one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe in its spring attire!
We’ll make a detour to see Mlinarica Gorge, one of Soča’s tributaries, and then slowly, with turquoise waters and good vibes, explore every waterfall and rock in the Small and Great Soča Gorges.

After the hike, we’ll have a lunch break, followed by our return journey to the starting point, arriving around midnight (depending on road and border conditions).

  • Travel health insurance up to €30,000 (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for safety when traveling abroad)

WHAT TO BRING FOR HIKING?

  • A smile, good spirit, and good health

  • Plenty of water (at least 2L), snacks for multiple meals, refreshments for hikes

  • Comfortable and sturdy hiking footwear and clothes

  • Your favorite walking stick, or find one gifted by nature

  • Cap/hat, sunglasses, sunscreen — whatever protects you from strong sun

  • Raincoat, spare clothes, dry and warm outfit within easy reach after the walk


IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • The number of participants is limited, and only members of MOUNTAINEERING ASSOCIATION HTS (ID: 28748817) or any other society under PSS are eligible to join (Contact us for info on membership and 2025 mark purchase)

  • The organizers reserve the right to change the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances or access limitations, or to cancel the trip entirely

  • This trip is not covered by travel guarantees in accordance with Article 86, Paragraph 3 of the Tourism Act

  • Upon application, please send the number of people, their names, phone numbers, place of departure, and proof of membership in our or a PSS-affiliated club

  • Cancellation is not possible due to the closeness of the event. However, a replacement participant may be arranged

  • This tour is NOT recommended for people with heart conditions or other health issues that may be negatively affected by physical activity

  • Please be PUNCTUAL for departure times, but allow flexibility with hike duration

  • Participants must bring ONLY POSITIVE VIBES, A BRIGHT SPIRIT, AND GOOD MOOD. See you there!

IN THE EVENT OF AN INSUFFICIENT NUMBER OF PASSENGERS, THE DEADLINE FOR TRIP CANCELLATION IS SEVEN DAYS BEFORE THE DEPARTURE DATE, ACCORDING TO ARTICLE 108 OF THE CONSUMER PROTECTION LAW.

SPECIAL NOTES:
• The agency recommends that the traveler individually purchases trip cancellation insurance. Otherwise, any cancellations will be handled solely according to the General Terms and Conditions – point 10: CANCELLATION OF TRAVEL BY THE TRAVELER.
• Seat allocation in the bus is based on the payment date, i.e., the signing of the travel contract. When assigning seats, priority is given to older passengers, pregnant women, families with children (under 12), and passengers with documented health issues. The first row is reserved for staff and is not assigned to passengers unless necessary. Travelers must accept the assigned seat.
• The traveler is obligated to provide all required information at the time of signing the contract, including the ID/passport number used for border crossing. If not provided during signing, it must be submitted within 48 hours.
• Serbian biometric passport holders must have a passport valid for at least 3 months after returning from an EU trip, and 6 months for trips to Turkey.
• Please ensure the validity of travel documents, especially for children.
• The organizer is not authorized to assess the validity of travel or other documents. Non-Serbian citizens must check visa requirements for the destination country. It is recommended to consult the Delegation of the EU in Serbia at www.europa.rs, or the embassy or consulate of the destination/transit countries. The agency is not responsible if border authorities deny entry.
• If travelers pay for an extra seat in the bus, refunds will not be issued even if other seats remain empty during the trip.
• 48 hours before departure, the organizer sends a message with all trip details. If you do not receive it, please contact the agency.
• Stops for rest are planned every 3.5 to 4 hours depending on rest area availability and road conditions.
• Travelers are responsible for their travel documents, money, and belongings throughout the trip. Leaving valuables in the bus or hotel rooms is not advised as neither is responsible for lost/stolen items. Only insured items may be compensated through insurance companies. Complaints to the organizer in such cases are not valid.
• Group travel requires mutual understanding and a sense of community. Music and films played in the vehicle are neutral. Temperature settings are general and may not suit every individual.
• Luggage space is limited. Each passenger is allowed one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage.
• Due to schedule constraints, the bus will not stop at border crossings for VAT refunds (“tax free”). Please consider this in advance.
• The organizer reserves the right to change the program due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., border delays, traffic, site closures, etc.).
• The organizer reserves the right to adjust the schedule and terms of optional excursions due to objective reasons. Note that on certain holidays, local attractions, malls, restaurants, museums, etc., may be closed.
• Free time duration for individual activities depends on actual circumstances (e.g., length of tours, departure times, etc.).
• Travelers interested in visiting museums/galleries should check opening hours online and plan visits during available free time.
• Hotel star ratings reflect the official classification on the date of agreement with the foreign partner. Later changes unknown to the organizer are not grounds for complaint.
• All times stated in the itinerary refer to the local time of the country visited.
• The person signing the travel contract or group representatives must inform all participants of the agreed travel program, payment terms, insurance, and General Travel Terms.
• Minors must carry a notarized parental/guardian consent form for international travel.
• International travel health insurance is mandatory for certain destinations. We advise having insurance for all trips, as failure to do so is at the traveler’s own risk during inspections in transit/destination countries.
• The agency is not liable for information shared orally, by phone, or electronically. Only the written itinerary displayed at the agency is valid.
• The organizer reserves the right to sell arrangements at different prices through last-minute offers. Customers who paid a higher price earlier are not entitled to a refund of the price difference.
