Aaaaand now, with great pride, we present to you one of our most spectacular hikes yet!
We’re heading to visit the most famous ridge of the Dolomites – we’re going to see Seceda!

🗺️ TRIP ITINERARY

Route: Novi Sad – Belgrade – Santa Cristina – Seceda Plateau
Distance: 15 km
Elevation gain: 950 m
Difficulty: Demanding
(There is an option to take the gondola down and shorten the route.)

Departure from Novi Sad on August 9, around midnight (Friday to Saturday), from the ATP Vojvodina station.
We continue toward Belgrade (pickup near Sava Center around 1 AM).
(Exact departure time and location will be confirmed one day before the trip.)
Then, we take a relaxing drive toward Austria with rest breaks and border formalities.

In the early morning hours, we arrive in the small village of Santa Cristina, our starting point for the hike.

The plan is to climb to the famous Seceda Plateau, whose sharp ridgelines take your breath away and make it one of the most iconic spots in the Dolomites. Throughout the hike, we’ll enjoy constant views of the Odle/Geisler peaks, and at some points we’ll be quite close to them.

A great thing about this route is that if anyone gets tired, they’ll have the option to take the gondola back to the starting point to make the hike easier.

After the adventure, we’ll take a lunch break, and afterward head back to our starting location, with expected arrival around midnight, depending on road and border conditions.

🎒 WHAT TO PACK FOR A HIKE?

• A smile, good vibes, and good health

• Plenty of water (minimum 2L), snacks for multiple meals, and refreshments for climbs and walks

• Comfortable and sturdy hiking shoes, practical hiking clothes

• Trekking pole if you have one – or find a natural one along the way 😉

• Cap/hat, sunglasses, sunscreen – whatever protects you from the sun

• Rain jacket, spare dry clothes, and a warm, dry change of clothes within easy reach after the hike

• Limited spots available! Participation is exclusively reserved for members of Mountaineering Society HTS (ID: 28748817) or any society within the PSS (Mountaineering Association of Serbia). Contact us for info on joining or buying the 2025 membership.

• Organizers reserve the right to change the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, inaccessible routes, or even cancel the trip if necessary.

• This trip is not covered by travel guarantee protection under Article 86, Paragraph 3 of the Tourism Law.

• When registering, please send: number of participants, full names, phone numbers, departure location, and proof of membership.

• Due to the short time before the event, cancellations and refunds will not be possible, but name changes (substitutions) are allowed.

• This tour is strongly not recommended for individuals with heart conditions or any other medical issues that may be worsened by physical activity.

• Please be punctual at the departure points. While we aim to respect the schedule, flexibility is needed regarding hike duration.

  SPECIAL NOTES

  • The agency recommends that the traveler individually purchases trip cancellation insurance. Otherwise, all cancellations will be handled exclusively in accordance with the General Travel Conditions – Section 10: “TRAVELER’S TRIP CANCELLATION”.

  • Seating order on the bus is based on the payment date, i.e., the conclusion of the travel contract. Priority is given to elderly passengers, pregnant women, families with children (up to 12 years), passengers with documented health issues. The first row of seats is reserved for service use and, if not needed, will not be assigned to passengers. Passengers must accept the seat assigned by the agency.

  • Upon signing the travel contract, the passenger must provide the organizer with all requested information, including the travel document number. If not submitted at the time of signing, the deadline for submission is 48 hours.

  • For travelers with a red biometric Serbian passport: for entry into the EU, the passport must be valid for at least 3 months after the return date; for Turkey, at least 6 months.

  • Please ensure the validity of your travel documents, especially for children.

  • The travel organizer is not authorized to assess the validity of travel documents. Non-Serbian citizens must independently check visa requirements. For entry conditions into the EU (required funds, insurance, accommodation confirmations…), visit the Delegation of the EU to Serbia website www.europa.rs or consult the relevant embassies. The agency is not liable if border authorities deny entry.

  • If passengers pay for an additional bus seat, they are not entitled to a refund if seats remain vacant after the trip.

  • 48 hours before departure, the organizer will send detailed departure information. If you do not receive this, please contact the agency.

  • Rest stops are scheduled every 3.5 to 4 hours, depending on conditions and availability.

  • Passengers are responsible for their documents, money, and belongings throughout the trip. Leaving valuables in the bus or hotel rooms is not recommended. In case of theft, compensation is only possible via insurance. The organizer cannot be held responsible.

  • This is a group trip, and all aspects reflect that. Music and films on the bus will be neutral. Bus temperature cannot be adjusted individually. Please exercise mutual understanding and consideration.

  • Luggage space is limited: one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per person.

  • Due to schedule constraints, the bus cannot wait at border crossings for “tax free” procedures.

  • The organizer reserves the right to modify the travel plan due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., traffic, border delays, site closures).

  • The organizer and local guides may change the order and terms of optional excursions due to local conditions. Certain attractions or shops may be closed due to holidays.

  • Duration of free time depends on the day’s schedule and external factors.

  • For museum and gallery visits, travelers should check opening hours online and plan visits during free time.

  • Hotel category is officially determined and valid on the contract date with the foreign partner. Later changes unknown to the organizer are not relevant.

  • All times in the itinerary are local.

  • The signatory of the travel contract or group representative must inform all travelers about the program, payment terms, insurance, and the General Travel Conditions.

  • Minors must have notarized parental/guardian consent to travel.

  • International travel health insurance is mandatory for some destinations. We recommend having it for all trips. Without it, travelers are solely responsible during border checks.

  • The agency is not liable for information provided orally, by phone, or electronically. Only the written program is valid.

  • The organizer reserves the right to offer last-minute deals at prices different from those in this price list. Travelers who paid earlier cannot claim compensation for any price differences.
