Pohorje... The name itself sounds idyllic, like a place where people live in log cabins, surrounded by conifers, spending their mornings by the fireplace with the sound of crackling fire... Deep in the Pohorje forests, the famous Lovrenska Lakes are hidden, surrounded by lush vegetation and well-maintained trails and platforms... It will be a day to remember!

WHAT'S THE PROGRAM?

BELGRADE - NOVI SAD – Hike to LOVRENSKA LAKES – Visit to the PATH AMONG THE TREETOPS ROUTE LENGTH: 12 km ALTITUDE DIFFERENCE: 200M DIFFICULTY: MODERATE

Departure on 27.05.2025. from NOVI SAD AND BELGRADE around midnight (Exact time and location will be announced a few days before departure) and a smooth ride towards Slovenia.

In the early morning hours, we will arrive at the small village of Rogla and begin the first part of our trip, a light and relaxing hike to LOVRENSKA LAKES, which are unique with their lush vegetation and beautifully arranged surrounding platforms. A balm for the eyes, soul, and lungs, being present in such a place and absorbing all the beauty of this Slovenian gem.

After completing the first part of the trip, we will have an equally attractive visit to the PATH AMONG THE TREETOPS, a system of platforms elevated among the canopies of the local coniferous forests for which this area is famous. The highlight of this section is a massive spiral structure offering views of the surrounding Alps and endless forests.

After the activities, we will have a lunch break, followed by a return to Novi Sad and Belgrade in the late evening hours.

THE PACKAGE PRICE INCLUDES:

THE PACKAGE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

• Entrance ticket to the PATH AMONG THE TREETOPS, group visit price is 11 EUR, and it is necessary to state at registration whether you wish to go
• Travel health insurance with coverage up to 30,000 EUR TRAVEL HEALTH INSURANCE IS RECOMMENDED FOR TRAVELING ABROAD FOR YOUR SAFETY

WHAT TO BRING FOR HIKING?

• A smile, good spirit, and good health.
• Plenty of water, at least 2L per hike, backpack snacks for multiple meals, refreshments for the climbs and walks ahead.
• Comfortable and strong, adequate shoes for nature walks, comfortable clothing.
• If you already have your favorite hiking stick, bring it. If not, nature hides your new favorite one.
• Cap/hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, anything you consider necessary for protection against strong sun.
• Raincoat, spare/change of clothes, warm and dry clothes within reach after each hike.

IMPORTANT NOTES!!!

• The number of registrations will be limited, and only members of the MOUNTAINEERING ASSOCIATION HTS (MB:28748817) (Contact us for details regarding membership and purchasing badges for 2025) or any mountaineering society within the PSS network are allowed to participate.
• The organizers reserve the right to change the program due to unforeseen circumstances, inability to access certain sections, or even cancel the trip.
• Please provide us with the number of persons, their names, phone numbers, and departure location along with membership confirmation upon registration. Due to the proximity of the event, cancellations will not be possible after payment, meaning no refund, but a replacement participant will be possible.

• For this trip, no protection is provided in terms of travel guarantees in accordance with Article 86, Paragraph 3 of the Tourism Law.

• The tour is NOT recommended for persons with heart or any other health issues that may be adversely affected by physical activity.
• Please be PRECISE AND PUNCTUAL regarding departure times, but also flexible about the duration of hikes.
• We kindly ask all participants to bring ONLY POSITIVE VIBES, A CHEERFUL SPIRIT, AND A GOOD MOOD. See you!

SPECIAL NOTES:

• The agency recommends travelers to purchase individual travel cancellation insurance, as otherwise, all cancellations will be handled exclusively in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Travel – Section 10 CANCELLATION BY THE TRAVELER.
• Seating order in the bus is determined based on the payment date of the travel contract. Special consideration is given to senior travelers, pregnant women, families with children (under 12 years), travelers with documented health issues… The first row of seats is reserved for staff and is not assigned to travelers unless necessary.
• Travelers are responsible for ensuring their travel documents are valid, especially for children’s travel documents.
• The organizer is not authorized to assess the validity of travel documents. Non-Serbian citizens must independently verify visa requirements for their destination. It is recommended to check EU entry conditions (financial requirements, health insurance, accommodation confirmations…) via the EU Delegation in Serbia website www.europa.rs or at the embassy or consulate of the destination country.
• If travelers pay for an extra bus seat, they are not entitled to a refund after the trip if there are remaining empty seats.
• 48 hours before departure, the organizer will send a notification with all departure details. If you do not receive a message, please contact the agency to confirm the departure details.
• The organizer reserves the right to change the order of program activities due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., border delays, traffic congestion, site closures…)
• For all verbal, telephone, or electronic information provided by the agency, no liability is assumed. Only the written travel program displayed at the agency premises is valid.
• The organizer reserves the right to sell arrangements via Last Minute offers at different prices from the regular price list. Customers who have already booked at regular prices are not entitled to any refund due to price differences.

THIS TRIP IS BASED ON A MINIMUM OF 50 TRAVELERS IN CASE OF AN INSUFFICIENT NUMBER OF TRAVELERS, THE CANCELLATION DEADLINE IS SEVEN DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE ACCORDING TO ARTICLE 108 OF THE CONSUMER PROTECTION LAW.
