WHEN ARE WE STARTING?

GATHERING AND DEPARTURE ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 11th, 2025, AT 09:00 AM IN FRONT OF HOTEL CEPTOR IN ANDREVLJE

WHAT IS THE WALK PROGRAM?

After gathering at ANDREVLJE and a brief introduction to the route, we will head towards Ugljarski potok, and then to LETENKA, one of the most famous picnic spots in Fruška Gora. The perfect place for a break after the ascent through the dense beech forest!

Next, we'll continue along a forest path to the partisan road towards POPOV ČOT, at a leisurely pace without too many fluctuations.

After a short break, we'll descend to the abandoned quarry DEBELI CER. First, we'll visit a viewpoint that offers a phenomenal view of the place where the red stone used to build the Vladičanski dvor in Novi Sad was extracted. Now, it serves as a gathering place for birds of prey and their feeding ground. After the viewpoint, we continue through the quarry and complete the circle by returning to ANDREVLJE.

HOW LONG DOES THE WALK TAKE?

The total length of the walk is about 15km, making it excellent for recreational hikers and beginners ready for a challenge. We estimate that the walk will take about 6-7 hours.

HOW TO GET TO THE STARTING POINT?

• By private transport from Novi Sad, pass the bridge to opposite side of the river, ride towoards the village of Banoštor following the river, and there you will have sign telling you to turn left towards hotel CEPTOR
• For those without transportation or those willing to offer a ride to share costs or simply help someone, you can check the Facebook group we've named "Hajd na hajk," intended for all nature lovers to facilitate the organization of hiking trips.

WHAT DO WE USUALLY BRING FOR HIKING?

• Minimum 1L of water, usually more.
• Comfortable and sturdy walking shoes.
• Snacks, sandwiches, fruit, lunch—whatever you desire in nature, you can eat without guilt.
• If you already have your favorite walking stick, bring it. If not, nature might hide your new favorite.
• Hat/cap, sunglasses, sunscreen—whatever you consider necessary.
• Spare/change of clothes.

IMPORTANT NOTES!!!

• The number of participants will be limited this time, so please message us the number of people you want to register if you want to join us on the walk.
• The tour is NOT PAID upon registration; it is on a voluntary basis. At the end of the walk, you'll have the opportunity to reward our guides with DONATIONS, as much as you think this tour is worth.
• WEATHER CONDITIONS usually do not affect our walks unless severe weather is forecast. It's up to you to decide if the weather conditions suit you or not.
• The tour is NOT RECOMMENDED for individuals with heart or any other conditions that physical activity could adversely affect.
• Please be PRECISE AND PUNCTUAL regarding the departure time. On the other hand, we won't strictly adhere to the duration schedule of the walk, as we don't know in advance the group's structure.
