TRIP PROGRAM

NOVI SAD – BELGRADE – KADIJEVAC PICNIC AREA – JANKOVE BARE – MARKOV KAMEN

ROUTE LENGTH: 12 km
ELEVATION GAIN: 300 m
DIFFICULTY: MODERATE

Departure from Novi Sad on 08 November 2026 (ATP Vojvodina, around 4:00 a.m.), followed by a stop in Belgrade (near the Sava Center, around 5:15 a.m.). We then continue towards Kopaonik, with rest breaks along the way as needed.

In the early morning, we arrive at the Kadijevac picnic area, which, with its little stream, fir trees and forest shelters, invites visitors to spend time in nature.

During the first part of the hike, we reach the so-called Jankove Bare, the largest peat bog on Kopaonik. It is known for its wooden walkways and platforms built above the bog, which, together with the surrounding coniferous forest, create a truly unique atmosphere.

We continue hiking through the coniferous forest, crossed by small rivers and streams, until we reach the famous Markov Kamen. According to local legend, Marko Kraljević himself threw the rock there while training...

After completing the hike, we will have a break for lunch, followed by a relaxed journey back to Belgrade and Novi Sad.
