ONE-DAY TRIP – ROCK AND MOUNTAIN (Kamena Gora, Sacred Pine)
Since we love places that are less frequently visited, this time we have prepared a trip to explore one of the more secluded villages in Serbia and visit our oldest tree. To make the adventure even more exciting, we will hike through what may be one of the most beautiful coniferous forests in this part of the country.
DATE: December 6, 2026
‼️ REGISTRATIONS OPEN UNTIL DECEMBER 1, 2026! ‼️
TRIP PROGRAM:
NOVI SAD – BELGRADE – KAMENA GORA – SACRED PINE – JABUKA
ROUTE LENGTH: 12 km
ELEVATION GAIN: 300 m
DIFFICULTY: MODERATE
Departure on December 6, 2026, from NOVI SAD (ATP Vojvodina, around 1:00 AM), followed by a stop in BELGRADE (near Sava Center, around 2:15 AM). We then continue with a comfortable drive towards Kamena Gora, with rest breaks along the way.
We arrive at the village of Kamena Gora, tucked deep in the mountains near the border with Montenegro. The village is home to the famous Sacred Pine, believed to be the oldest tree in Serbia. It is said that this ancient tree has been welcoming and seeing off visitors for around 800 years, and that long ago it served as a gathering place where important decisions were made.
After showing the Sacred Pine some love and gratitude for its existence, we enter a magical coniferous forest. With every step, the sense of mystery grows, the peace becomes more profound, and we feel increasingly refreshed. This is one of those forests that naturally invites you to meditate and leaves you feeling a few kilos lighter.
The trail ends in the village of Jabuka, where our bus will be waiting for us. We will take a break for lunch before beginning our relaxed journey back to Belgrade and Novi Sad.
