📅 DATE: June 18 – June 23, 2025
We are heading to places so beautiful that some of their rulers rightfully began to imagine themselves as characters in various fairy tales – even Disney agreed with them! Our trip will include a leisurely visit to the famous English Gardens, as well as a taste of quality würstels and unfiltered beer. A mix of lakes, canyons, and all sorts of life’s joys! We believe Bavaria will prove to be a great host...
❗❗ REGISTRATION DEADLINE: June 11, 2025 ❗❗
Departure from Belgrade from the Sava Center parking lot around noon. Departure from Novi Sad at around 4 PM from the ATP Vojvodina tourist terminal. (Exact times will be confirmed the day before, and the agency will notify you.) We continue our journey towards Germany with breaks for rest and border formalities.
Distance: 14 km | Elevation gain: 100 m | Difficulty: Easy
Early morning arrival in Munich. What many people don’t know is that this city has one of the largest urban parks in the world, even bigger than Central Park in New York. This place is called the English Garden, and it’s perfect for a morning walk, admiring neoclassical sculptures and beautifully maintained flower arrangements. We will also take a stroll along the Isar River, searching for the perfect wild beach spot to relax and enjoy the soothing sound of flowing water. There will also be opportunities to feed birds by the artificial lake, and finally, we will explore the city center, rich in history and landmarks.
To wrap up our Munich experience, we’ll taste some local specialties along with the famous German beer—but be warned, here they serve one-liter mugs!
After our visit to Bavaria’s capital, we drive to the small town of Kaufbeuren for check-in and overnight stay.
Distance: 8 km | Elevation gain: 300 m | Difficulty: Moderate
Early morning departure for one of the world’s most famous castles – Neuschwanstein. This castle is so stunning that Walt Disney himself insisted on using it as the inspiration for his company’s logo!
Our excursion begins with a visit to this magnificent structure, taking us back to medieval times. After exploring the castle, we will hike to several scenic viewpoints, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Neuschwanstein, standing proudly on a vertical cliff, surrounded by dense pine forests and towering alpine peaks.
To conclude our hike, we will relax by the serene Alpsee Lake, located right below the castle, offering an idyllic atmosphere.
Return to accommodation and overnight stay.
Distance: 11 km | Elevation gain: 900 m | Difficulty: Challenging
Early morning departure for Walchensee Lake, our starting point for the ascent to one of Bavaria’s most spectacular peaks – Herzogstand.
We will enjoy a stunning forest trail leading us to the summit, where an incredible panoramic view unfolds: two turquoise lakes in the foreground, with the dramatic alpine peaks towering in the background. This will be the perfect opportunity to pause and take in the peaceful atmosphere, before making our way back down and returning to our accommodation.
Distance: 6 km | Elevation gain: 100 m | Difficulty: Easy
In the morning, we pack our belongings and begin our journey home. But before heading back, we will visit Germany’s most famous winter resort, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, a town that will immediately win us over with its charming alpine atmosphere.
Our final hike leads us to the stunning Partnachklamm Canyon. This natural masterpiece, with its steep cliffs and perfectly maintained trails, offers a breathtaking harmony between nature and human craftsmanship. The crystal-clear, rushing river running through the canyon will make this experience truly unforgettable.
After a short break for lunch in the village, we will begin our return journey to Serbia.
