WHAT ARE WE PLANNING?
We all curiously observe it from afar—almost the entire city knows it, yet many have never encountered it up close. The TV Tower on Iriški Venac is one of the symbols of our beautiful mountain, and we’ll sneak up on it during an inspiring walk starting from Paragovo, then gently descend back. A relaxed autumn loop, easygoing conversation, tea from a thermos, the widest smiles, and a forest dance.

MEETING AND DEPARTURE WILL BE IN PARAGOVO AT THE “IRIŠKI PUT I” BUS STOP, THE FINAL STOP OF BUS NO. 72, ON SUNDAY, 25/01/2026 AT 09:30 AM.

WHAT IS THE WALKING PROGRAM?
The walk starts from the final stop of bus 72, from where the trail immediately leads us uphill toward Glavica. We then continue toward the Savina Voda spring, which is 1.9 km away.

The first part of the walk continues for another 2.9 km, mostly uphill with an occasional flat section or gentle downhill, but overall ascending toward the famous TV Tower. Along the way, we’ll pass through Vučji Do (Wolf’s Valley), where its namesakes no longer live.

At the TV Tower, we’ll take a break to refresh and recharge, then begin a gentle descent back toward our starting destination. This route passes the Vilina Vodica spring, where we’ll pause in hopes of spotting a fairy or two by the water. We continue onward as the trail steadily descends. This downhill section is 6.7 km long and much easier than the first part of the walk.

HOW LONG DOES THE WALK LAST?
The total planned route is about 12 km. To complete it with a few breaks, we’ll need approximately 4 to 5 hours, making this route ideal for recreational walkers and beginners ready for a challenge.

HOW TO GET TO THE STARTING POINT?

• If you’re coming by public transport (bus no. 72), ride to the final stop, IRIŠKI PUT I. A suitable bus departs at 08:50 AM from the Railway Station, goes via Bulevar Oslobođenja, crosses the Liberty Bridge, and continues to Paragovo.
• If you’re coming by car from Novi Sad, after crossing the Liberty Bridge, continue to the end of the road and turn right toward Ruma. After about 10 minutes of driving, you’ll reach the final stop of bus 72 in Paragovo.

WHAT DO WE USUALLY BRING FOR A HIKE?

• A smile, good spirits, and good health. Masks and gloves are not required in nature, as we’ll respect recommended distancing.
• At least 1 liter of water (usually more).
• Comfortable, sturdy walking shoes.
• Snacks—sandwiches, fruit, lunch—anything you enjoy eating in nature, guilt-free.
• If you already have a favorite walking stick, bring it; if not, nature might hide your new favorite one.
• Cap/hat, sunglasses, sunscreen—whatever you deem necessary.
• Spare/change of clothes.

IMPORTANT NOTES!!!

• The number of participants is limited this time, so please message us in the inbox with the number of people you’d like to register if you wish to join us.
• The tour is NOT PAID upon registration; it is donation-based. At the end of the walk, you’ll have the opportunity to reward our guides with donations in an amount you feel reflects the value of the tour.
• Weather conditions generally do NOT affect our walks unless severe weather is forecast. It’s up to you to decide whether the conditions suit you.
• The tour is NOT recommended for individuals with heart conditions or any other health issues that could be adversely affected by physical activity.
• Please be PUNCTUAL AND PRECISE regarding the departure time. On the other hand, don’t hold too strictly to the planned duration, as we can’t predict the group’s structure in advance.
• We kindly ask all participants to bring only positive vibes, a cheerful spirit, and good mood.
