WHAT ARE WE VISITING?

CEPTOR ANDREVLJE - UGLJARSKI POTOK - GRGUREVAČKA PEĆINA - PAPRATSKI DO - PAPRATSKI POTOK - CEPTOR ANDREVLJE

WHEN ARE WE STARTING?

GATHERING AND DEPARTURE FROM THE CEPTOR ANDREVLJE CONGRESS CENTER, ON SATURDAY, 13.01.2024, AT 09:00 AM.

EXACT LOCATION OF THE STARTING POINT: Google Maps Link

WHAT IS THE WALKING PROGRAM?

We start the walk from the CEPTOR resort at ANDREVLJE. Right from the start, we descend to UGLJARSKI POTOK, which will instantly enchant us with its beauty. We follow its course as if hypnotized, occasionally crossing from one bank to the other with a constant ascent, about 5.1 km long.

Soon, we emerge onto a partisan road and take the opportunity to mention GRGUREVAČKA PEĆINA, one of the most famous caves on Fruška Gora, which is inaccessible today, so we won't linger there too long. We continue in the footsteps of the partisans to overcome this 2 km long section.

From the main road, we turn right towards the area known as PAPRATSKI DO. Initially, we follow the fence behind which European deer are raised in the hope that some of them will approach the fence and delight us with their presence.

We descend further to PAPRATSKI POTOK, where we will enjoy the beautiful coniferous forest. Shortly after that, another ascent follows, and we continue the trail back to the starting point. This part of the walk is about 7.4 km long.

HOW LONG DOES THE WALK LAST?

  • The length of the projected route is 14.5 km. To complete it entirely, we will need about 6 hours of walking, including several short breaks, making this route excellent for beginners and recreational walkers.

HOW TO GET TO THE STARTING POINT?

  • If you are traveling by your own transport, you need to cross the Most Slobode (Bridge of Freedom) and after the tunnel, turn right immediately. After that, go straight at the traffic light. Follow this road straight to the village of Čerević. In the village, turn left at the sign for the Ceptor hotel. After the turn, the road will lead you directly to the starting point.
  • For those who do not have transportation or want to offer it to share expenses or simply help someone, they can look for the Facebook group called "Hajd na hajk," which is intended for all nature lovers for easier organization of hiking trips.

WHAT USUALLY DO WE BRING FOR HIKING?

  • Smile, good mood, as well as good health; masks and gloves are not mandatory in nature, as we will respect the recommended distance.
  • Minimum 1 liter of water, usually more.
  • Comfortable and sturdy shoes with crampons.
  • Snacks, sandwiches, fruit, lunch—whatever you desire in nature, you can eat without guilt.
  • If you already have your favorite stick, bring it; if not, nature is where you'll find your new favorite one.
  • Hat/cap, sunglasses, sunscreen—whatever you think is appropriate.
  • Spare/change of clothes.
